AIBU to think constantly asking for an item on a free site is rude?

On FB I'm a member of a free and wanted page. Lots of ill mannered people not even saying please when asking for items etc.
Well there is one member who has been asking for the same item since March!! Every day she 'bumps' her thread to the top. It's coming across as demanding and someone must give her one. She asked for another item a while back, same bumping. She got offered one and refused cos it was a couple of miles away. So you either have to live near her or deliver!
I told the admin she was being rude etc and got told daily bumping is fine. Everyone can do it but just cos she is the only one that's fine. I pointed out while making sure her post was at the top it was selfish and other posts get pushed down, not everyone has Internet and this behaviour just isn't fair. Admin told me to leave the page if I'm not happy.

What is she asking for?

If its a washing machine or something essential, then I could understand it if she was desperate.

Of she's not doing it out of real need, then I agree it's rude. She's probably only shooting herself in the foot if she is being that pushy though.

It's a stair gate! Can't help thinking that if she needs it that much she could have saved to buy one or cancel her Internet for a month and buy it with the money!!

Many people consider stairgates an essential, and if she doesn't drive and is broke enough to be needing it free, then she might not have the money for a taxi.
It's an advertising page, if she's annoying you that much, then do as admin suggested.

there are ways of asking for things without sounding rude though!

'Can't help thinking that if she needs it that much she could have saved to buy one or cancel her Internet for a month and buy it with the money!!'

Or she's saving for a mattress, or bedding, or bottles and soothers or a car seat.
