To be pisssed off with DH for drinking all day and missing the train home then blaming someone else?

My DH was "working"away today....or so I thought.

I was expecting him back this evening. So when he hadn't let me know what train he was on at 9.45pm I called to see if all was ok. A rather pissed DH answers, didnt realise the last train home was at 10pm. Reckons he is 5 mins from the station and will be on said train.
Was he fuck.

He blames someone else for offering him drinks all day, from 12pm. Like he had to accept!?

So AIBU to be a bit pissed off? I am also a bit worried as not sure how pissed he is...last time he wondered the streets of a big city with a few drinks inside him he got attacked. I know....I'm paranoid!

Even more annoyed as I probably won't sleep well now and DS will most likely be up at 6am or some such delightful hour.

yanbu, I would be cross too. Make sure he pays you back with a child free day and lots of 'you' time!

YANBU. Did they tie him down & pour the drinks down his throat? What a selfish idiot.

Don't be remotely sympathetic to his hangover tomorrow either.

He is such a muppet. Instead of finding a hotel, of which there are hundreds, he plans to get a train to nearest city and a taxi back home from there. Meaning he could be in around 3am, waking me, DS and the dogs.

I am fuming.

YANBU to be pissed off. BUT... only because he didn't let you know earlier and made you worry.

DH has on occassion, texted to say he's ended up 'at lunch' with work colleagues, and won't be home. DH doesn't do this a lot, and his work is full on, so on the rare occassion that it happens, I am cool (overtly, inwardly I'm bitted and twisted and jealous).

However, YANBU. Purely because he hasn't kept you informed at a reasonable time.
