To be faintly chuffed that someone asked me out yesterday?

Slightly bizarre. Went on a 'speeding awareness' course Blush, having been caught speeding. 4 hours with a group of other people.

At the end of it, the very attractive marine engineer next to me said, 'Would you like to meet up for a drink, sometime?'

Shock

I'm 46, married with 5 kids and I can't remember the last time I was aware of anyone (other than DH) eyeing me up!

I smiled and said, 'that's very nice of you, but I'm afraid I'm married'.

But I did go home feeling slightly flattered that he'd wanted to.

Why shouldn't you be chuffed. It's nice to feel attractive to others, even if you are pig ugly like me lol. ( which I am sure you are not!)

You should have asked if you could have the money instead. Grin

Wow, no I would have been floating on air and dead chuffed!!!

Grin I worried that I was shallow! (Which I am, of course).

But yes, I sailed home feeling all witty and attractive, rather than middle aged and knackered, which is my usual frame of mind.

It hasn't occurred to me for donkey's years that anyone might fancy me still!
