Are not all great parents? 2 are clearly wearing flares, a bad sign indeed but even more than that, the Mum on the right has lost her baby and is trying to coax it back with a bottle of milk.

Conversation:
"Milky milky Darling"
"No!"
"Come back out the lion cage to Mummy for your milky wilky!"
"NO! It's too fucking embarassing to be seen with you in those hippy trousers!"
"But I have organic papaya flapjacks!"

She looks more like a milk tempting child-snatcher than a mum.
"Come here my beauties! There's lots more loverly milk in this innocent looking cage cart!"

I don't trust her. She should be replaced by a feckful Dad.

The one on the left looks like she's just nearly dropped hers as well.

LastTangoInDevonshire · 12/06/2013 15:37

I always think the lady on the right looks as though she is toting a gun !

Snoopytwist · 12/06/2013 15:38

And the baby in the middle is clearly not positioned properly in the baby back-carrier. Who's gonna call social services first?

dubstarr73 · 12/06/2013 15:38

I always thinks they look like Charlies Angels.

heronsfly · 12/06/2013 15:40

I always thought they WERE Charlies Angels, just looked at it properly Blush

TiggyD · 12/06/2013 15:40

I get the impression that the child in the middle has just wet himself down the middle Mum's neck.

I beliebe it is a tribute to Charlie's Angels. Which means that MNHQ were young in the 70s which must make them all over 50 minimum!

Flares or boot cut?

Which are worse?

TiggyD · 12/06/2013 21:58

Flares.

Huh hum, I can remember Charlie's Angels, and I'm not a day over 48!

Idocrazythings · 12/06/2013 22:01

I thought the one on the right was tapping on a mobile phone!

HollyBerryBush · 12/06/2013 22:01

it isn't an imaginative logo - it is a direct lift of Charlies Angels

I wonder if anyone has copied it to Spelling and Goldberg? I'd love to see that law suit

Idocrazythings · 12/06/2013 22:02

Maybe one of the old brick ones with an antenna that possible Charlie's angels would have used!!! Grin

EndoplasmicReticulum · 12/06/2013 22:03

Oh, are they supposed to be 3 separate women?

I thought it was some sort of many-headed mum-octopus.

Lweji · 12/06/2013 22:03

Oi!

I remember Charlie's Angels and I'm only 41!

Definitely Charlie's Angels logo.

RevoltingPeasant · 12/06/2013 22:04

Because of the way it looks in miniature in the browser, DH calls it the MN crab or the MN arachnid.

I've always thought it looked a bit like that famous Time cover photo of the two soldiers raising a Stars and Stripes on Okinawa or somewhere like that.

beanandspud · 12/06/2013 22:09

I always think that the one on the left is actually saying "What am I supposed to do with this".

TiggyD · 12/06/2013 22:10

He's got more of a communist 'pointing the way to future prosperity through work' look about him if you ask me. I can imagine him on a poster somewhere in the USSR.

Never really understood why a site with a rep for feminism chose a logo in tribute to a rather wsexist program. Beautiful private detectives who belong to charlie someone thst makes peter dtring fellow look like a gentleman
