To ban the dds from sky-plussing Jessie/Good Luck Charlie/Wizards et al?

These flaming programmes are on ALL THE TIME. My dds keep recording them for each other to watch then they sit on the planner for weeks on end clogging up space.

AIBU to say you can't record them, only watch what's on TV at that time?

Just let em record and then every so often have a massive deleting session!!

My DH deleted all DS's Zack and Cody....DS discovered the restore button - not good!! We now have the Fred movies that we sneakily deleted back!!

Saltire · 12/06/2013 14:40

Ahah, I have some of those channels on pin lock!
DS2 has also discovered the restore button.

My planner is full of it too

They never watch it, and 99% of it are repeats/will be repeated anyway. They've got no idea what's on there, so I clear it all off whenever the box gets full

Those programmes are the main reason we have just got rid of Sky. Only 3 more days left until it get switched off. DD is not happy but I am so excited!!

EleanorHandbasket · 12/06/2013 14:43

Oh god I feel your pain.

Mine are not supposed to record anything but I am forever finding this shit clogging up my planner.

I delete at will.

HairyPotter · 12/06/2013 14:43

Ha! I have banned the Dds from watching Jessie in my presence. I can not bear it. Utterly hideous tripe with blatant stereotypes, terrible acting and smug unlikable children.

Yes, ban then from putting it on the planner. Grin

Dancergirl · 12/06/2013 14:49

In some ways I would like to get rid of Sky but I must admit I do like the planner.

We only got it in the first place for dh to watch the football which happens about 4 times a year! Hardly worth the £55/month!

I could have written your thread word for word.

They get put on as soon as dd is up in the morning, they're on when she comes home, my planner is clogged up with this crap.
wouldn't mind usually but she has a bloody sky box in her room, she can watch and record up there and does she ever watch and delete them?
No, because she's too busy watching on the telly!
She then complains when I delete them after giving her endless chances.

And that bloody Hey Jessie theme tune drives me nuts.....sounds like H...S...AAAAAYYYY....

I feel your pain - I am in similar hell - however I flatly refuse to have sodding Good Luck Charlie on when I am in the house as I cannot abide the turgid shite.

Was enjoying a drool over the lovely Philip Glenister last night watching Mad Dogs when it constantly kept popping up that the box was also recording pissing Wizards and did I want to watch that instead!
