I think I've heard of a few where the OP has had a whinge about someone only to realise the person's read the thread, but wonder if anyone's ever had that sinking feeling that they're reading about themselves...

I have by my ex, it was blatantly about me and I think he only posted it because he knows I post on here. bitter, moi?

It turned out he was unreasonable anyway, even when he'd missed out a load of horrible things he had done which were vital to explain my perfectly reasonable behaviour.

wasn't there one about pizza express (i think)? and someone posted complaining and the people she was complaining about came on and defended themselves? i really hope i am not making this up

I vaguely remember a pizza express thread but I may just be imagining it from people saying about it.
Also, there was that one by someone who was organising a birthday party but the person that came on and thought it was about them has posted a few odd threads since then so I'm not sure if it was genuine.

I know the 'Pizza Express' people irl, and yes it was real, and yes they showed up the poster of the thread to be embellishing the truth somewhat! Always take what you read here with a little grain of salt.
