Primary school child drinking red bull?

I was on the way to work this morning when I saw a girl in school uniform (age 8ish) drinking red bull from the can when on the way to school with her mum. Surely this is not considered a reasonable drink to give to your daughter/son??

all i think when i see it is Thank god i dont need to deal with the come down energy drinks are the work of the devil and I have banned them

DD1 is an adult she drinks relentless in huge cans

When I was young and not well Lucozade was used as a pick me up now kids drink it just as a drink

I once saw a nursery child drinking sugar free red bull in the way into nursery, bet the nursery teachers enjoyed that day

These drinks are poison, drives me mad when I see kids drinking them like water.

I wonder if these parents would give their kids a double expresso 3 times a day i think not
