On MN you are being unreasonable but in real life of course you are not! On here Mummy Pig would ask "AIBU to only buy DD Pig a dollies dress for her birthday? All she likes doing is jumping in muddy puddles anyway...oh and bossing her brother and friends about. So...AIBU?

Everyone would say "Ooh no YANBU! it's FINE to give a baby or child ONE small item. Otherwise they just get spoiled and entitled."

Whenever I see that episode I moan that it's a present for her doll, not Peppa. Poor Peppa!

I take it you haven't seen the Christmas one, where they get one present - along the lines of a toy train, a yo yo etc

That just seems a bit tight to me, my DD dont get much, but she gets more than one thing...

I found it quite refreshing in the Christmas episode that they all just got one thing they really wanted..
My DD is Peppa obsessed and I'm embarrassed to admit though I know she's not alone can almost parrot episodes, so if Peppa had 100's of gifts lavished on her and then I only got her one thing not that I actually do then she might feel a bit peeved that Peppa got lots.

Aww, but Peppa seems quite delighted with the dress! It bugged me a little bit too though...
