On last night. I was really shocked by the violent rape and assault scene. Its the first episode I've seen, was there a build-up to it setting the scene, as a one-off it was horrific to watch.

That was part 4 of 5 LessMiss - you really need to watch the whole thing in context. It was a pretty violent episode but I cant recall "seeing" a rape scene? Certainly the implication was there though.

I think it's a brilliant show. Really impressed with it.

All his meticulous planning was thrown asunder last night and the episode certainly took the violence to another level, he didn't actually rape her though. Sorry to be pedantic!

I think he assaulted her though, the first time, on the bed. I hate him, he is an utter utter bastard and I can't wait for the denouement.

I think it's rather graphic and a wee bit voyeuristic, so if you came to it only last night it would have been more shocking.

I actually thought he would leave as it wasn't going to his usually meticulous plan, so I found the double murder extra shocking. Horrid!

Thanks for clearing that up. I'll try and catch the whole series at some point, as I was a bit shocked by the one episode.

What rape scene?

its a good drama though, very atmospheric,I think the non cliched' murderer is great.
I really do wish they would make female TV DCI's more likeable though.

I think he had to kill them both so he couldn't be identified. I always feel scared when he takes his balaclava off because then you KNOW he's going to kill.

It's brilliant. But very disturbing. And I wish Gillian would smile. Just once.
