Fat Free Butter

My Dp has come back from the supermarket, slightly disgruntled, because of a joke I put on the shopping list. I never for one moment thought he would take it seriously! I put amongst other things . .

Real Butter (100% fat free) Smile

I even put the smiley face next to it. It turns out he spent 20 minutes looking for this item and when he couldn't find it, he asked a shop assistant - she took one look at the list and said 'I think she is having you on mate!'

I think this is utterly hilarious, but him - not so much . . Not even slightly amused, the grumpy git!

Now, he thinks IWBU, I think it was obviously a joke!

Can you settle this?

Anyone else with daft gullible partners?

Grin never had them, but reliably informed they taste delicious sprinkled on jacket spuds, veggies or in mash.

I want some pelican repellant heartbroken!

Well, I'll be jiggered! I never knew that, thank you for the heads up monty . .

Now all I have to do is to send my Dp out looking for fat free butter . . Wink

Bless

I'm Aussie, and we tend to call green peppers Capsicum, though they are also known as green peppers. I figured the same would apply over here.

I wanted some green peppers (specifically green not a multipack of various colours) for something so I put "capsicums" on a list.

He spent 20 minutes wandering round and asked someone and they didn't know.

Came back without.

Died laughing when he said what had occurred and died again at his face Grin

We often put chicken nappies on the shopping list- because they are called diaper chickens. I have no idea why!

I add random things to shopping lists to see if DP notices. This week was a mini pig and he came back with a stuffed toy one!

Oh bless, wonderland shows he cares'

Yes. And I am genuinely scared. Confused

More so, now I've let him read this thread.

I knew peppers are called capsicums in other countries, but I didn't realise it meant specifically green peppers. No wonder I confuse poor (Aussie) OH Blush
