I find the whole manipulating babies into unnatural positions to create so-called 'cute' photographs absolutely sickening? Do you agree?

I wouldn't say it induces feelings of wishing to vomit generously over everything, no. I think it's naff almost beyond belief though and I'd certainly never buy anything that was modelled like that.

I looked at the first one and could not bear to look at any more. It reminds me of the weird taxidermy poses the Victorians used to pose kittens in (thinking of the kittens wedding.....)

I totally agree with you.

Photoshop!

The babies aren't actually manipulated into those positions that you see. Their head and necks are supported and then the images are edited together to remove the parents hands. It is very safe and doesn't cause any distress at all.
Also. Poses like this are only done on infants under two weeks old as they have low muscle tone and are used to be bent over... Unless you have an abnormally roomy womb.

Thank you for explaining it is photoshop Smile

Nevermind if they are photoshopped or not - it just looks WRONG. Agree about the taxidermy cats thing being very similar.

Also, actually the fact that they are photoshopped DOES matter, because some idiots who don't realise this might try a DIY job on their own/someone else's baby and damaging them in the process..
