Why does everyone go mad for that particular feature?
It's nice to have original features but why that specifically?
It's a bit colourful...
Did it take a long time to lay?

Minton floors aren't to my taste really

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 27/05/2013 11:32

are they specific to one area? i have never heard of them before.

rabbitlady · 27/05/2013 13:45

i love minton floors. i didn't when i was young but now i'm crazy for tiling. and old glass.

Original ones are great - they hide the muck i mean like weeks of muck! and they add a feature to a house.

We had ours restored at our old house (1900's end terrace) 16 foot hall. It was a talking point every time someone came to the house, people love them. It was a huge selling point when we sold it too.

Everywhere round here we looked had that flooring I just find it dank and depressing.

Original does not mean good!

They're a bit garish
