All I seem to see lately is the word chavvy to describe names, items, clothes etc that people don't like.

So far names that aren't Arlo or Benedict, are double barreled or start with a K are chavvy.

Using Nanna is chavvy.

Wearing character clothing (children) is chavvy.

Everything is fucking chavvy. It makes me wonder what people think chavvy means? Am I the only one who has noticed this?

I called a piece of furniture in Ikea tacky today whilst talking to the cub, just as somebody came up behind me looking for the number for it. It wasn't my taste, she tutted and stomped off. It's still tacky, it's a chest of drawers and it coated in a mirror finish silver stuff and fugly.

I have neighbours who are common, yes, it is judgemental but when you take a sweep to see when they take their bins in and the only thing they grow in their front gardens are fag ends it becomes a bit wearing. Also, one day last year I ran upstairs saying to Mr Tigga that one set of the neighbours car had been broken into, there was stuff everywhere and the car doors were open in the rain. I was really worried, Mr Tigga said they hadn't been broken into and wait, 5 minutes later Mr Neighbour came out and started searching through the wet piles of stuff on the floor for school uniform for their child to wear to school THAT DAY. Really, it makes it hard not to put on the judging pants.

I honestly don't care about perceived social class/money stuff like that just take a small amount of pride in where you live and how you live.

Of course! Like I said its not a bad thing IMO. Most people don't fit into one stereotype! Like I said I think that there are certain chavvy things people do but that wouldn't make me think that they were 'chavs' in any sort of a negative way.
