I have seen some, not loads, but a definite number of extremely anti FF people on here. The ones that think FF mothers are irresponsible and owe their child more

Similarly, there are a lot of pro choice (abortion) people on here

I just don't really understand how you can be pro choice but against women choosing for themselves how to feed their baby. Shouldn't women be allowed to choose what to do with their bodies in every way conceivable?

Aware is lots more complicated than this, just wanted to open up a bit of a debate (NOT BUNFIGHT)

(Am EBF-ing and pro choice but curious)

You could be both if you believed before birth the woman was more important, and after birth the baby.

In reality I expect many people believe the woman is more important before birth and after they are roughly equal.

I really hate the idea that women should be forced to bf unless they have a medical excuse. To me that is on par with people who believe sexual assault within relationships is okay - bf is such an incredibly intimate thing, no one should ever be forced or made to feel bad for just not wanting to do it.

I have bf 2 babies for well over average.

This would be a wonderfully interesting discussion, if we knew that there were MNers who believed both
a) terminations should be legally available, and;
b) breastfeeding should be compulsory, and formula should be banned.

While we look for such personages, I'd like to discuss the contradictory viewpoints of people who support gay marriage, but who are also against inter-racial marriage. Grin

I'm just pro choice.
