Not for very understandable reasons a lot of the time. it's all got too zealous. No controversial subjects = Netmums

My hunches are always pretty accurate too.
I report the horrible ones, though I quite like to follow the crazier ones to the bitter end.

I don't honestly have a problem with the deletions. I think troll hunting has got out of hand, and if a thread needs to be deleted because of that, so be it.

It's their site.

I dont think there is a problem with the deletions, maybe its just because there seem to be a lot of threads deleted at the same time? /lots of weirdos on the go at the same time? Confused
Its just bad when a thread is really getting good and then it goes pouff Grin Things are a little weird on MN at the minute anyway, I think, posters leaving etc etc Maybe it all goes in a cycle? I just dont know what to think. Too many hormones ??

littleginger · 16/05/2013 20:09

I didnt know whole threads got deleted. Wish I could read I love a good kick off Wink

stopmovingthefurniture · 16/05/2013 21:48

Surely this is because Mumsnet is feeling uncomfortable after the media shone a spotlight on its more vipereske tendencies.

Sparklingbrook · 16/05/2013 21:50

It's Amanda Holden's fault then stop?

nenevomito · 16/05/2013 22:15

Nah, HQ know that we're cuddly vipers. Deep down. Deep, deep, deep, deep, deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep down. Grin

Dawndonna · 16/05/2013 22:21

YABU or maybe YANBU.

You didn't ask an AIBU question.

CherylTrole · 16/05/2013 22:29

Hmm yes possibly the revenge of Amanda Holden on MN is a good theory < I read that article and was NOT amused> Perhaps the article in the Independant a few days ago too

CherylTrole · 16/05/2013 22:30

Agree, this supposed to be an arena of opinion and free speech. Recently there was a thread about smoking at 20something weeks pregnant, the op was asking for opinions. I said I disagreed and thought it was selfish. I got deleted!! WTF
