Original thread here

I have got my deposit back bar £90.

The dispute service have been very fair. Explained all decisions and I agree with them.

Feel good that nobody got 'ripped off'. So from moving out it took 2.5 months.

I'd advise anyone else to go through the same process. Why not? They only keep the disputed amount anyway so it's worth it. Even if it does take a while.

Thanks for all advice.

Hurrah! I'm pleased for you.

MousyMouse · 15/05/2013 21:11

took us 2 months to get it back. and hat was without any dispute and the landlord releasing it 2 days after moving out.

GoodbyePorkPie · 15/05/2013 21:11

Well done! What was the £90 for in the end?

MousyMouse · 15/05/2013 21:14

this is exactly why the deposit scheme is mandatory.

Some building work, curtains...

No tree/garden external wankery. Thank goodness.

He he! You see? They can't take it from you if they can't prove it!

Bet they were right pissed off! :)

Well done!
