AIBU to be so shocked? So ds and I were at the beach earlier and we saw a little girl walk past, she looked approx 2 max maybe 20 odd months. I had to look twice but her tshirt had the following phrase printed on it. "if you think im a little bitch you should my mum" Shock Bitch was fully printed out too. Who the hell makes such tshirts and who would put one on a child it was all a bit Shock and Sad Does anyone else feel this is just wrong? Her mum must be a real prize role model Hmm

I suppose her mother thought it was 'funny', but I find it tragic and very sad.

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:26

YABU for being on the beach Envy

People think jaunty/rude slogans on kids clothes are funny. They aren't. It's all a bit sad.

froginthepond · 06/05/2013 16:29

Sparkling it turned out to be only 9 degrees at the beach and it started raining. I was glad to get out of there, mn and get my flameproofs on for an aibu post Grin

YY we will be flamed any minute for having zero sense of humour. Wink

SoleSource · 06/05/2013 16:31

No beach here in Brum :(

Yanbu

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:33

We have Weston Super Mud as our nearest beach Sole. Sad

froginthepond · 06/05/2013 16:33

I have a super fireproof cape Wink The edges are a little frazzled though Grin Maybe i should get a slogan printed on it like aibu?

I don't think you will be flamed. That's pretty gross and I quite like the 'I've been inside for 9 months' babygros.

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:35

Ooh this is v tasteful.

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:37

This is a bit realistic.

SoleSource · 06/05/2013 16:40

The first link.made me heave

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:43

There is worse

Shinigami · 06/05/2013 16:44

OMG Shock

GiveMumABreak · 06/05/2013 16:44

So wrong!

RuckAndRoll · 06/05/2013 16:45

That really is quite sad. YANBU.

But having said that, I like the 'Been inside for 9 months' ones too.

DH wanted to buy one last night that said 'Mummy doesn't want your advice' it might be true but I would never dress my child in it!

froginthepond · 06/05/2013 16:46

Am i just a prude? Im not keen on either of those links Sad I do agree with the person that said they liked the "been inside for 9 months" baby gros and i dont mind the ones that say "party at my crib 2am bring a bottle" they make me Grin but some just make my stomach turn.

Im Shock at that whip em out one! Im cringing at the thought that there is a child out there wearing that baby bib right now. Confused

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:48

I don't really like any clothes with slogans on apart from maybe DS1's Bazinga T Shirt.

SoleSource · 06/05/2013 16:50

I don't like any of them. Or the clothing that says 'made with pure love' etc

Barf

Sparklingbrook · 06/05/2013 16:50

I saw this pushchair in town the other day. Just why?

SoleSource · 06/05/2013 16:51

I have seen that pushchair too!

Double barf

phantomnamechanger · 06/05/2013 16:52

what's wrong with people, putting adult jokes and sexual innuendo on babys clothing is just vile!

froginthepond · 06/05/2013 16:54

oooooh i like the sound of a bizinga t shirt! ds who is 3.6 loves the big bang Grin i think he just likes seeing if there are going to be any robots. The only slogan tshirt he has is a Beastie Boys one and we both love it Grin I would happily buy him a Beatles yellow Submarine one too as its his favourite CD and he plays it all the time in his room. I dont tend to buy slogan stuff though.

Saw a little girl is supermarket just now with a liverpool jersey on with BITCH 1 on the back. How is any of that cute?

EarlyInTheMorning · 06/05/2013 16:59

I hate slogans on adult t-shirts anyway but something like that on a child is just pathetic.
