So far this morning my family have treated me like a slave. I am crying at their sense of entitlement.
DP and DS expect me to do everything and never thank me, except when prompted.
My 18 month old is adorable but is stuck to me day and night like glue and sobs even when DP takes him into another room.
DP has gone with them to visit his parents for the day.
I am seriously thinking of checking myself into a hotel fur the day and night. AIBU? Just one night away from them all?

I think you should definitely do it, but not today.
You need to do it on a weekend they're around, so that they miss you.
No good them coming back this evening to an empty house when they've been fed and entertained by someone else all day.
