I'm knackered, been off last few days ill. Normally it takes two buses and over an hour to get there. A taxi will cost £20 but take 15 mins and will save on my low energy reserve.

Oh, and no, can't really afford it but very very tempting anyway. It would not cause debt or starvation of kids etc, etc.

Do it.

If no one's going to starve, and nothing awful will happen - no.bailiffs will be round or anything - then you can afford it. I'd do it.

Do it!

If you can't afford to take another day off and it will enable you to get to work then personally I would do it.

However if you are still ill tomorrow could you stay home? As pushing yourself could prolong you being ill.

Hope you feel better soon.

Don't rush back if you're not 100% but if you really need to then def a taxi is in order. Buses at the best of times make me feel queasy and getting one when ill makes me feel blurghhhh.

If you're not well enough to get the bus you probably shouldn't be going to work. If I were you I'd take the day off to top up your low energy levels and go back when you're feeling better.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I am going to have to go in really, but getting lots of rest at the weekend. Think I might do it!

No, get the buses to work . . . and a taxi home!
