For instance:
A) Are George and Richard Rabbit G&T? They've just set up Dinosaur World in George and Peppa's bedroom, with an upturned laundry basket as a volcano, a forest of toy trees and a river made of blue building blocks. They're not like any 18 month old I've ever seen!

B) Do you have no choice but to marry the only available instance of the other gender of your species in existence? How did Mrs Rabbit and Miss Rabbit decide who got to marry Mr Rabbit?

C) Why did Daddy and Mummy Pig call George George when it so definitely doesn't start with P? Did she not get shot down on a Baby Names thread for that one?

I want to know what happens when Peppa and George are old enough to be eaten. Does mummy and daddy pig take them to the slaughterhouse, or is there an (as yet unseen) farmer that does that for them?

And what about all the other piglets from Peppa and George's litter? Did they get sold?

(Overly practical country type person Hmm)

Brian Blessed does Grampy Rabbit - "The sea, the sky" is fab, Catmint

My DP loves "She can't talk she's a fish" in the Goldie and the vet episode, the way Peppa says it and of course the fact that pigs and sheep etc can talk.

I love Delphine Donkey's dad, and the trunk of things he sends cos we don't have them (water, tomatoes [all said in French accent]).

Alexander Armstrong is Captain someone and Mr Wolf.

Andy Hamilton is Mr Elephant, the dentist.

There is only one Miss Rabbit (and her sister, Mrs Rabbit) who does all of the jobs. That is why there are episodes mentioning all the stuff she does - one where she injures her foot and has to get the other Peppaland folk to step in to cover her, and one where the Queen gives her a medal to recognise her efforts.

There are NOT lots of 'Miss Rabbits'. She works bloody hard, and that town would fall apart without her Angry

I love this thread. These are the things I spend my time thinking about and I'm so pleased I'm not the only one!

I NEED to know what Mrs Fox does - I've only spotted her in one episode, the sports day one? I like to think she's a bit like Peggy from Enders...love Mr Fox the spiv and spiv son Freddie - "My Dad sells those in boxes of five"

Has anyone mentioned the goddess Madame Gazelle? She is fab, the Bing Bong song is tops. Especially for annoying ds who pretends, at 6, that he is too old and cool for PP, yet he watches it on the sly with his little sister.

Oh, and of late my dp has taken to loudly talking over me when I am giving him my orders for the day speaking, in the manner of Granpa Pig: "Yeessss Granny Pig. Noooo Granny Pig..." and so on. I'm not quite sure how to react to that....

Mummy Pig's job involves sending letters to people - some kind of spam mailshot 'work from home' gig.

Somewhere, maybe in classics, there is/was a brilliant thread that was basically Mummy Pig and Miss Rabbit having the mother of all arguments. T'was brilliant.

There is only one Miss rabbit, she wins an award for being the hardest-working person (sic) in the country.

~sings~ There's only one Miss Rabbit! (I luff her cause she is also Nanny Plum, who is the best character on kid's telly. I hate the rest of Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly is far superior even when they tell the same jokes.)

Why do Mummy and Daddy pig never tell Peppa off when she is naughty? They just laugh and fall over. I think they are drunkards.

I always thought there were lots of Miss Rabbits. Was really disappointed when I saw the episode where she hurt her leg.

I had to endure Madame gazelle's leaving party 10 times in a row yesterday. And what is with the camper van that is also a boat?
We have 108 episodes recorded on the TiVo box but I do wish they'd make some new ones and make them a bit longer so I could get something done. Alternatively I could try and teach dd to use the remote!

I may have imagined it but I am sure I have seen 2 different episodes for georges 2nd birthday.

Daddy pig is an architect. I don't like him, he is a buffoon and all mummy pig does is laugh at him indulgently. I would have left him by now.

How does Mummy Pig not tell Daddy Pig to shut his trap when going on about how to toss the pancake?
Her patience is worthy of a medal. I would love to be like her.

I have a question, whenever they have flashbacks to when the adults are children at the playgroup, where are uncle and aunty pig?

Why is Peppa called Peppa when all the other children have 'proper' names (Suzy, Emily, George etc).

I know that someone is now going to pop up telling me they know loads of children in real life called Peppa and therefore it is a proper name....

My DH loves Peppa Pig just a little too much!

He keeps saying that theres people from his favourite sketch show (Absolutely) who do some of the voices.

He made me watch some Absolutely once and some of its funny, but lots of it is really strange.

Leonie yay! My DD nearly 9 still loves Peppa Pig so I envisage many more years of watching them with her then Grin DH also will watch a few episodes and finds them funny.

My fave episode has to be 'The Quarrel' where Suzy Sheep and Peppa fall out over a game they both think they won and the other one cheated. Mummy Pig says to Daddy Pig " Peppa and Suzy have fallen out" and Daddy replies " Oh dear" in his very patient voice and gets them to make friends at the end.

DH finds it hilarious when the say "Dig up the road" and the road gets dug up in seconds and put back again in seconds when someone wants to pass Grin
