AIBU?
To think you don't let your baby/toddler suck/bite your big toe?

Because surely it's unhygienic and you don't want your innocent child's mouth to be dirtied by your foot germs? Even if they're washed? Even if they're ex pop star now famous for nothing z-lister toes?
why? Why? Why?

My dd2 was foot obsessed. We once had a Firewoman in the house with big steel toe cap boots on, I was talking to the Firewoman and looked down to see dd sucking the end of her boot. God knows how long she'd been doing it for .
She used to suck my toes too but I would hide them from her cos it's a bit minging and it feels weird.

I once kicked a small child in the face for doing this
Im not advocating it but she didn't do it again!
It was 11 years ago and she suffered no ill effects and still loves me, but thinking about it still makes me feel terrible.
She was not long crawling and I wasn't used to her being down there, she crawled up and just put her sloppy mouth round my toe. Reflex was to kick out, only to see said baby wooshing off. There were no tears, she jus crawled of an did something else.

I've just had 2 garden tantrums because I took away big clods of earth ds was trying to eat (and I do man big, one of them he needed 2 hands to lift) so toes which are kept clean, not so worried.
Haven't let him do it, but i'm getting decidedly relaxed about how pure and clean children are.
