I have a 2 year old car, I bought it last year from a main dealer and it was an ex demo.
It is a top of the range model and the other day I was looking through a brochure and I noticed that it should have reversing sensors fitted as standard and it hasn't.
I phoned the garage this morning and explained and he said he would look into it. He has just phoned and given me some rubbish about it being an old shape and although it's registered as an 11 plate it's on the crossover from an old model and a new one so that's why it doesn't have them.
I've been googling all morning and trying to find out and it seems the old model was changed way before my car was built so what he has told me is incorrect. I have asked him to check again for me and luckily the sales guy that sold me it is now the sales manager so hopefully they will work something out for me.
Would I be unreasonable to insist they fit them free of charge?
