whenever I go on a craft website there's stuff about bunting. am I the only person who doesn't get it. I mean, what's the point of spending hours making the stuff, and what do you do with it when you've made it?
and anyone who posts saying it's a 1st world problem can fuck off. I don't care.

Our cleaner makes bunting. She made me some for my birthday and I've hung it from the mantelpiece in the kitchen. Looks pretty. I wouldn't spend hours making it myself though.

We have bunting in DS's bedroom, but a lot of the little bedroomy bits that were bought for him as a baby have a sort of nautical theme running through them, so it matches nicely.

I don't suppose it really has much of a purpose, it just looks pretty.

I think it looks really nice outside for things like garden parties and fetes. Don't see the point of hanging it up in the house though.

We put some bunting up for DSs birthday.

In my defence, it's plastic and from the supermarket. But it is still up because I can't be bothered to fetch the stool and stand on it to take it down.

I think craft sites like it because it's easy to make and uses up scraps. Craft sites are great believers in using up scraps.

I don't mind it for a party put it would get on my nerves if it was up all the time. It's annoying me now actually, but the stool is in the other room and I'm still not sure I can be bothered to fetch it.
