I didn't cry at my father's funeral as I firmly believed that if I started crying I would never stop. I did a reading too. I look back and wonder how I even got through that period of my life.

I shed a tear watching MT's funeral (albeit watching it in the evening as I'd been at work). I think my tears were more for my teenage/twenties self and my life then rather than a real mourning for MT. I was surprised to see GO cry but sometimes you can be overwhelmed just by being there rather than because you feel a true sense of loss. I was at a funeral last year where the entire congregation was sobbing (for someone who was a similar age to MT).
