My DD (9) has been sick this morning. We have a holiday from school today, and had lovely plans to meet another family for a fun day out. I have been stuck at home all day balancing cuddling up to the poor soul on the sofa, dealing with a grumpy DS (7) and trying to make an impression on the mess from the weekend. AIBU to feel aggrieved at this situation? To top it off I have to negotiate with my mother and DH to devise a package of care for her for at least tomorrow so I can go to work and deal with the carnage there too! Sad
