aibu to feel a bit sad that sid has gone from cbeebies as i thought he was phwoarWink

I wanted to watch it as they said he would be leaving in the link just before 6pm but DS was watching CBBC and didn't want me to switch over Sad.

Didn't he go out of the cbeebies house door or something?

I accosted met Sid in Sainbury's on dd1's 2nd brithday.

He was charming and came, voluntarily, to say hello to dd who over the moon as he was her favourite.

He really was lovely, even dh agreed after he realised who he was and i wasn't just chatting up a random man!

He's off to do his own 'business' I.e. his touring. He said messaged about 'dirty dancing' as we had a twitter conversation about Strictly ha, I was stoked

I turned the TV on & caught the last part of the message and somehow knew it was a farewell before I'd really heard it. I felt strangely :( too. I think because he has been on there since I started watching with DD (she turns 3y nxt wk) and it feels like an end of an era.

He will still appear in Let's Play & the Number raps apparently...
