I bought DD2 2 tickets to see McFly fr her birthday.

DD is 15, has Aspergers and not been to a proer ban gig before.

I was all resonable and 'oh darling, you can take whoever you like' knowing she'd get all DDish about it and need me to be there.

She has only bloody gone and organised a friend to go with her.

Meaning I can't go.

'Mum, did you seriously think I woul go with you ?Hmm'

And now I won't get to see Dougie and press him to my ample cleavage and lick him all over.

Bloody cowbag normal teenaged child.

I'd breathe a sigh of relief, mainly because it's my idea of hell...however, it's a shame you're missing out on a legit perving experience

Bingdweller · 12/04/2013 20:32

YABU - you should have bought 3 tickets!

TaggieCampbellBlack · 12/04/2013 20:33

Give her the money to buy the souvenir DVD then you can watch the close ups in private Wink

HairyPotter · 12/04/2013 20:36

Convert · 12/04/2013 20:37

As she's under 16 you could probably still have her adopted. Grin

TaggieCampbellBlack · 12/04/2013 20:38

Woollyback in my experience tickets don't come until about a fortnight before the gig. make some sort of presentation thing on the computer and don't fret - the surprise will be just as good

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/04/2013 21:49

Thank you cardibach.

The concert is only 3 weeks away so I hoped they would come in time. They have other presents but this would have been the icing on the cake.

dribbleface · 12/04/2013 22:09

Pancakeflipper · 12/04/2013 22:15

Whatdoiknowanyway · 12/04/2013 23:11

I took my daughter and her friend to see Mcfly about 8 years ago. They sang the Diarrhea song. At Wembley Arena. And announced that had always been their ambition. I was not impressed.

IneedAsockamnesty · 12/04/2013 23:14

I had dinner with them once one of them sat under the table playing spy's with my 4 yo ( at the time) was very embarrassing seen as I had no idea who they were.

But yabu and I'm very impressed at dd taking a friend she will have a lovely time.

Szeli · 12/04/2013 23:16

If my 13 yo dd with Aspergers goes to a gig in 2 years time with a friend and without me I will be overjoyed.
Sorry I know you don't really want serious replies but I can't help it Sad Grin
