To think that sometimes you CAN judge a book by its cover?

The title of the book was War Horse - and there WAS a horse and it DID go to war! Uncanny.

Has anyone else been this perceptive or is it just me? I think it's spooky...

Grin uncanny indeed!

I was tricked by Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. Never finished it, although I hear it does get better.

Distinctly remember the disgust I felt as the realisation dawned on me it was actually about salmon in Yemen.

Why do so many books have a cover with a back view of a woman in red walking into the distance?

I often judge a book by its cover and title - I will disregard a book based on it having a horrid cover. Equally, I've kept some books purely because I like the title although I'm not fussed about the actual story Blush.
