I'm sitting here while dd9 is preparing chicken curry for dinner while waiting for her cakes to cool.. Only downside is she gets to chose music while doing it bloody one direction valuable life skill..

I'm lying on the settee mumsnettiing whilst ds1 (17) and ds3 (6) fight argue upstairs. None of mine do dishes. Disclaimer, I have a cold and still did home made pizzas for lunch with ds3.

Hmm must teach Dd more life skills she's 8 so is obviously falling behind.

Lucyellensmum95 · 07/04/2013 16:40

My 7 yo DS is lovely and helpful but I couldn't trust him to wash up properly! Do the pots actually come out clean the other side?!
