I am friends on facebook with a couple of mothers from the southern states of America.

They're actually really lovely and not at all right-wing. They do get frustrated with the right-wingers they live near though.

I don't know why I wonder about this, I just think it could be such a clash of political and social ideals.

I just have to bite my tongue about gay rights and abortion as my evangelical Christian Canadian friend is lovely in every other way.
I'm sure she'd love to have a go at converting me, but I'm a hopeless cause.

She also votes labour, which I don't
