midwife only has appointments Thursdays and is fully booked for weeks.
I moved recently so havnt met her before so she wont stamp my grant untill she has seen me.
I am now 35 weeks and have been told by hospital midwifes due to complications I will properly end up having a c section or an early birth.
aibu to wish I could fax my grant with a stamp from the hospital and sort a payment out today so I can buy somewhere for my child to sleep and a buggy.Sad

What's a sure start grant??

Have you not bought anything yet?

But surely if you're 35 weeks and have complications you have a regular appointment with "someone" medical? (it's a while since I had my DC so maybe I shouldn't be surprised that you won't get to see anyone at all).

Can your GP sign the form ?

iv bought everything apart from his bed and buggy as I couldnt afford it out of my benefits.
and you would think id be seeing someone regulary but I just get a scan every 3-4 weeks. Hmm
