I heard a report on the radio either yesterday or Saturday referring to mortgage troubles and banks saying about cutting out luxeries in order to pay the mortgage including mothers (not fathers or parent,just mothers were mentioned) giving up work to cut childcare costs. Its in Ireland so no help with extortionate childcare prices but I was hoping to read the report or summery of to see if it relates specifically to the mother giving up work or if that was the news reporters interpretation.

Tried the usual news sites but can find nothing.

Found one and it still says mothers.
