Oh - you mean the video I have of someone elses child with a finger up their nose dressed as joseph isn't funny???? it is ... but why should my child be taken into care for belting mary with a doll and announcing 'heres jesus!'

Lucyellensmum95 · 22/03/2013 20:59

Um, well the finger up the nose isn't funny but your child hitting mary over the head certainly is ;) Its the ones that film their kids falling over and hurting themselves that should be prescribed enforced parenting classes Grin

Some of them you can't help wondering why the person behind the camera hasn't put it down and helped whoever it is who's broken their back/is drowning/has done irreparable damage to their nads.

notsofrownieface · 22/03/2013 21:07

The best one was on years ago, it was a woman caught on a fairground attractions where the floor is a belt and it keeps jigging and she can't stand up. Must be from the late 80's early 90's. this is a stock answer but if you don't like it don't watch Smile

Fakebook · 22/03/2013 21:12

Yes I agree. I shout and wince at the screen when I watch this shit. Today there was a clip of a toddler fishing and he fell into the lake and went completely under the water and the adult had to fish him out as he didn't bob back up again. God knows who the hell found that clip funny.

SuburbanRhonda · 22/03/2013 21:13

I watch but cringe when the kids hurt themselves, or an adult falls on concrete steps - what's funny about that? And that one where the bloke dive bombs onto a frozen swimming pool but the ice doesn't break - you can almost hear his coccyx breaking.

Lucyellensmum95 · 22/03/2013 21:14

i don't usually, my DP and DD were watching and guffawing away while i was sat here twisting the dogs ear and gritting my teeth

that has won a few best of shows it is hilarious , I do cringe at the granny/grandad dancing ones why would you really sit the drunk old dear down and pull her skirt down dont video it Grin

I hate the bmx skateboard ones they really make me wince,

Hassled · 22/03/2013 21:19

I watch it for the cat and dog clips. I would happily watch hours and hours of cats being stupid - I love that stuff.

I can't bear the bikes/cars crashing stuff - someone involved is getting seriously hurt and it's just not funny.

DS3 lives in constant hope of us managing to film something worthy of YBF. It's his only ambition.

LarkinSky · 22/03/2013 21:20

Aren't they all set up? I didn't think any - except for animal clips, and not even all of those - were truly spontaneous.

Patchouli · 22/03/2013 21:32

I was on a miniature train ride with my DD and someone's grandma fell over getting off.
My DD burst out laughing
Blush I couldn't get my hand over her mouth quick enough.

I blame watching too much YBF

Also, we are never getting a trampoline!

mrsjay · 22/03/2013 21:35

Atropos · 22/03/2013 21:52

You are not being unreasonable, just responding like any halfway sentient human being with a bit of a brain. It must be the cheapest television ever.
