I have crazy hair...I love it (obviously) but get quite a lot of dirty looks and nasty comments.

Today a lady came up to me in town and said I'd "brightened up her day", which totally brightened up mine! So nice to have a nice comment

Also made the 4 hours I spent braiding and installing last night worth it.

Erm...thanks about the ears, I've never really noticed them.

They're surprisingly not that hot in summer, although I do concede that the reason I have an undercut is so I can tie them up and it cools me down. Having the back of your neck bare is really cooling.

I saw a young woman on the bus a couple of weeks ago that had a full head of "woolly" dreads (sorry don't know proper term) in shades of orange, white & yellow.

It made me want to cuddle her hair!

I didn't. Obviously. That would have been weird

I think it looks lovely too I really like the colours. I normal don't like that style, probably cause my hair locs up all on it's own if I don't watch out. So I spend ages conditioning and adding oil to keep it loose.

I do get judged a lot, especially when out with DD. I've been told to "grow up and start dressing like a mother". I've had people think I was a druggy. I get called "hippy" quite a lot as well...but I pretty much am one so don't mind that. Plus I've been called "Predator" more times than I care to remember

You should move to Brighton, you won't get any of that crap down here :)
