To be VERY pissed off with my brother

He has gone off on holiday and taken my I-phone charger. I've just gone to chare my phone (battery is low) and its gone. He left me with his that doesn't work. If it worked he would have taken it with him!

I am so pissed off with him, i have to drive down country lanes to get to and from work and have snow forecast. Angry

What do I do? I can't buy a new one till Saturday and mine won't last past the morning (if that).

Do they not come with USB charging leads? DH's did, I'm certain.

OrangeLily · 21/03/2013 23:12

If you have a cable that connects to your computer most phones will charge that way?

Ducklings45 · 21/03/2013 23:15

It's the cable thats broken so even though it will plug into the computer, nothing happens

Neighbour?

Ducklings45 · 21/03/2013 23:17

I live in a village in a tiny close with neighbours in their 70s. I don't know them and even if I did I doubt they would have an I phone charger. In now crying because I'm so annoyed about it all Angry

Ducklings45 · 21/03/2013 23:20

Trumpton · 21/03/2013 23:21

Oh bless you. Just a thought ... Has anyone at work got one that they can take into work in the morning for you to borrow to charge yours up? I also have a car charger that plugs into the 12v socket in the car . Does a friend have one of those ?

Ducklings45 · 21/03/2013 23:29

Thanks I've text a friend, hope she gets it okay!

Ask on free cycle or freegling

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 21/03/2013 23:54

And when your brother comes home, wait until he falls asleep (feed him into somnolence if necessary) and immac one of his eyebrows and/or the work TWAT into his hair Grin This will make you feel better!

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 21/03/2013 23:55

Ask the neighbors anyway, lots of elderly people have iPods and ipads.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 22/03/2013 09:26

Order one online and when he gets back charge him for it?

Mawgatron · 22/03/2013 09:45

DuttyWine · 22/03/2013 09:52

I got one on eBay for 3 quid and it came next day

Yanbu very cheeky and annoying

Moominsarescary · 22/03/2013 09:57

Not much use now but they do them in the pound shop, they only last a few months but then I've found the iPhone and iPod ones arnt much better!

RubyGates · 22/03/2013 09:58

Pound store
If its an old fashioned one (large connector)
Ebay (£3ish) if it's the sort that goes with a 5 or an i-pad mini.

Where's your brother's charger? Pinch his.

Ducklings45 · 22/03/2013 18:02

Thanks all, much appreciated!

His is an old fashioned one with a different style of lead and doesn't look like mine! He knew it was mine, when I rung him to complain to him, he knew he'd left me his an he knew it didn't work Hmm.

Anyone want to find me THE most expensive charger online? I'll buy a cheapie from pound shop and charge him the expensive price
