To be a little shocked this morning at finding 5 grey hairs

It wasn't so much that there was 5 (although this is the most ever I've found!). Rather, it was their colour and texture. I have fine, dark, straight hair and these were silver, appeared thicker and wavy! Quite bizarre. I pulled one of them out for a closer look (am 50 this year btw). It was like it belonged to someone else

I found 3 the other day, very similar to the way you describe yours but I'm only 28!!

Wait until you start finding grey pubic hairs. That's really shocking.

yabu as I am 29 and have too many thick wiry grey hairs to count, literally hundreds of them!!!

I found my first one when I was about 38. I probably remove one every few months or so whenever I notice it lurking there.

I'm used to it now, but it felt like a milestone the first time.

I've never found any grey pubes and I'm mid 50s. I'm just 'thining' a bit down below......I didn't expect that to happen!

I have noticed a few more grey hairs on my head but not too many yet. Most of my friends and my younger sisters have been dyeing their hair for years.

One of my sons has a grey patch a bit like David Milliband but not as big. He is only 27. It was a patch that stayed baby blond when his hair became darker. It's obviously grey now.

God I have some grey pubes, a few grey eyebrows and if left undyed a good stripe of grey head hair.

Wait until you find a grey hair growing out of your forehead! I only noticed it when it kept falling in my eyes.

Oh I hadn't thought of eyebrows turning grey. I suppose they must. Do they change in texture and become wiry? Do they grow in odd directions? And get bushier like Edward Heath's?

I've had my first grey hairs at 19 :(

Plenty grey pubes, eye brow hairs etc and only 49!

Black bristles on chin which really piss me off. A few grey hairs on the head are nothing!!

Got the chin hair as well, 2 of them, why do they seem to shrink when the tweezers go near them?

CHIN?!! (runs away and hides). Is there a redistribution of hair going on then? Thinning pubes but increased facial fluff?

Have you tried Tweezerman tweezers? They're well worth the investment.

Nipple hair anyone?

My one consolation is that my nipples are hair free. That would be just one too many body zones to be keeping a watch over.

Ha, that's nothing. I started going grey at 17 and that was depressing!

I have hairs growing out of my forehead - I thought I was the only one

The hair on my head started going grey when I was 16.. I am 43 now and no other hair on my body has gone grey, nor has hair appeared in any unwanted places either. :)
