I switched from Npower to anoher provider for gas and electric in early February. Since then I've had numerous phone calls and letters from Npower trying to persaude me to stay on with them. I don't want to and I've made that clear.
Next I got a bill with a huge credit on it (over £400). I got excited then realised that they'd allocated all my payments ofr gas and electric to the same bill and this was only for electric so all the gas was still outstanding and would have no payments applied.
I phoned for clarification at the end of February and was told there was a large sum to pay even taking into account the credit on the electric bill but they were not allowed to tell me what it was as it ahd not yet been approved and that certain credits on the electric bill would be cancelled on teh gas bill (dual fuel and direct debit discounts) That was 2 weeks ago.
I've had a couple more letters but no sodding gas bill. Another phone call last nigth and they still won't tell me how much I owe.
How the hell am I meant to budget knowing I owe a big sum of money but having no idea how much? Why can't they just send the damned thing so I can sort it out one way or another and why after 3 years of dual fuel bills have they suddenly decided to split it now?
Grrrr sorry that was so low I'm cross
