"Bubbly"
" feisty"
"a bit sweary'
" a foody"?

FOr these are the terms that, come the revolution will SURELY result in summary execution.

I am also "a bit sweary" but wouldn't use it as a phrase to describe myself if someone asked.

Ullena · 17/03/2013 12:46

Over the years I have been called the following:

Nice but a bit of a snob
Aloof
Conscientious
A good time keeper
Reliable
Too concise
Quiet
Shy
Original
Of excellent character

I prefer carbon based lifeform, myself Grin

nilbyname · 17/03/2013 12:47

I was once described as having an agile mind. That I liked

ScarletLady02 · 17/03/2013 12:54

I am a bit sweary....but I prefer to describe myself as "opinionated" Grin

Bubbly just makes me think of when you're trying to make someone who may not be that great to look at (but may be perfectly lovely) feel better....same goes for "oooh you've got SUCH a great personality!" (please no-one be offended by that, I hope my point is clear - I don't give two hoots what people look like).

Patronising....

notimefors · 17/03/2013 13:01

People say I am laid back and calm. So I usually use the same words to describe myself, even though underneath, I'm a terrible worrier a lot of the time!

diddl · 17/03/2013 13:02

No I don't.

I'm a shy shortarse,me!

notimefors · 17/03/2013 13:03

I also get told I am imaginative a lot but I wouldn't use that myself, it sounds too much like 'I am a Creative darling!', or that I am a compulsive liar.

BarredfromhavingStella · 17/03/2013 13:14

Don't do describing myself really though have been described as feisty & a bit sweary-yep suppose I am an opiniated gobshite but wouldn't mind being described as that tbh Wink

OrangeFireandGoldashes · 17/03/2013 13:45

No.

Sarcastic mardy lard-arse, maybe.

Loulybelle · 17/03/2013 13:49

Orange, thats me!!!

OrangeFireandGoldashes · 17/03/2013 13:52

We can form the Sarcastic Mardy Lard-arse MN clique, Loulybelle.

NoelHeadbands · 17/03/2013 13:52

No

"Bit farty"
"Insincere"
"Prone to stropping"

NoelHeadbands · 17/03/2013 13:53

I jest, I'm not a farty person

Loulybelle · 17/03/2013 13:55

i should add,

Bit messy
Prone to stupidity
Remote hogger

to my list.

CheeseStrawWars · 17/03/2013 13:56

"Feisty" has its origins in Old English and originally meant "farty". So I just swap "feisty" for "farty" in my head, and have a childish snigger.

No-one's added "sassy" to the list of offending terms...?

WhereYouLeftIt · 17/03/2013 13:59

I quite like 'sassy' - but I interpret that to mean wisecracking and smart-mouthed in a 1930's kind of way. Lauren Bacall, basically.

TheBigJessie · 17/03/2013 14:02

I got called creative once. I think this may be the greatest insult I have ever received in my life.

noddyholder · 17/03/2013 14:22

Bubbly is fat woman at slimming club giggling at everything

Loulybelle · 17/03/2013 14:32

Im fat, i certainly aint Bubbly.

maddening · 17/03/2013 14:38

No none of them.

I describe myself as thoughtful, patient, kind. I am also fat but don't want to define myself by that as I am trying to sort that out :)

maddening · 17/03/2013 14:39

I kept getting told I was eccentric by various people and after a while that made me paranoid..

Loulybelle · 17/03/2013 14:47

Eccentric?

Are you a mad scientist, Maddening?
