OH is in the kitchen browsing light fittings on his 'phone. I was in the kitchen getting bedtime milk for the kids. He asked me over to see a few and I looked, offered opinion, went back to milk at each one.
He asked again and I told him I was in the middle of something and to hang on a sec.

When I finished getting the lids on the cups for the milk, I came over to see the pics but he was in a huff and said it didn't matter anymore and would only have taken a second to come and see...but waiting a few secs for me to finish surely isn't too much to ask?
Or was I rude?

No, he was impatient and worse than the children!

You did go over and then tell him you were doing something and wouldn't be a mo, what was he thinking you should have done?

Not reason enough to huff off, which means it must be something else he's trying to tell you?

It's like he thinks you aren't giving him enough attention or something?

PP - that's what I thought. In fact, kids asked very politely for their milk which I had forgotten in the excitement of OH doing bathtime while he stropped that I wouldn't keep dropping what I was doing to look at the blimmin' light fittings (which are for a rental anyway and for which he will most likely ignore my opinion if he doesn't agree with it!) rollingeyes

Has he been trying to get your input into what you'd prefer with the light fittings for a while and hasn't managed it so far?

AgentZigZag - it was a minor huff but unreasonable nonetheless. We are both in foul moods today, it seems on and off, so wondering if this was him or me!
