Met up with DH's family yesterday for breakfast for Mothers Day (my mum lives abroad so sadly I don't get to spend the day with her) - there was about 10 of us including children.

I was feeling unwell in the morning, but didn't want to let people down by not going. DH knew I was ill and tired and so did everyone else - not in a dramatic way just that they commented saying I looked a bit pale and was I ok.

Finished breakfast and felt even worse. DH said are you feeling better and I replied that no I was still felt awful.

After everyone had finished DH suggested having another drink there when his brother suggested they all go over to his for a drink instead - DH agreed.

When we got in the car DH could tell I was annoyed and asked what was wrong. I told him that he knew I was unwell and only just made it to breakfast and that I didn't want to spend a couple of hours at BIL when I was feeling like that.

He got annoyed and said just go home then, so I dropped him off at his brothers and then drove home.

We've made up now but was I being unreasonable. I was ill and he knew that.

YWNBU.

You have also made it up now, so your DH obviously realises that too.
