I know we should have known better with all the bad press about them but we thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and switch our phone, broadband and tv to TalkTalk.
We were due to have the engineer come today to sort the tv. He text last night to say he would be with us at 12 so I get home at 1150 to find a 'sorry I missed you card'. I rang the number straight away and they said they couldn't rebook the appointment for another 24/48 hours and they couldn't contact the engineer. There was no apology from the lady and she wasn't listening to the fact that I had been home at the correct time and that the engineer had decided to come early.
We are now paying for a service we are not receiving because their engineer couldn't be bothered to wait to the prebooked time.
AIBU to feel frustrated with them and wanting some kind of recognition that it was their fault I 'missed' the engineer?
