The title says it really.

1 - are they more popular than Labour and Conservative?
2 - Lib Dems are still popular?!
3 - What are UKIP all about? The Daily Mail are crazy over them (including the people who comment on the paper)
4 - What is so bad about the EU? why is the Daily Mail so against it?

I hate politics but I am Labour through and through (hate all parties actually, but I can just about stomach labour)

  1. What would the country look like under UKIP leadership?

Arrgh so many questions. Thanks so much

Tony Blair leader of the labour party took us to an illegal war it has been declared but you don't see everyone jumping up to call all labour supporters war criminals.
The conservatives have been criticised for their disabilist policies, are all conservative voters the type to be the same?

And realistically, manifestos are not worth salt.

I hate uk politic of three same parties spouting the same rubbish.

AmberLeaf · 02/03/2013 00:24

People didnt vote tony blair in knowing he would go to war though did they?

UKIP voters know what they are voting for.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 02/03/2013 00:26

Well, you do, actually. Loads of people think what Blair did was criminal.

Same with everything else - lots of voters are upset by the corruption of all three main parties. But that doesn't mean they will suddenly say 'oh, UKIP are only as crap as the other parties and more nasty, let's vote for them'. That would be absurd.

AmberLeaf · 02/03/2013 00:26

The conservatives have been criticised for their disabilist policies, are all conservative voters the type to be the same?

Well.... we'll see if they vote for them again, if so then we know they approve of their disablist policies.

BeardofZeus · 02/03/2013 00:27

People voted labour back in for a second term. I guess they saw no problem with a party like that.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 02/03/2013 00:27

Yep, and to follow on from what amber says - loads of people who voted for Blair made a huge point of protesting his actions by saying explicitly that they'd voted for him but couldn't support his actions now.

It's not the case that people accept politicians being deliberately shite.

LRDtheFeministDragon · 02/03/2013 00:28

beard - yeah, like, totally, the numbers, like, totally say that.

If you are a bit dim.

Right ... and?

BeardofZeus · 02/03/2013 00:39

You mean like the people who voted labour back in? Enough people to give a majority gvnt? By your logic thats a seal of approval on unethical actions so those votes belong to war criminals by association?

LRDtheFeministDragon · 02/03/2013 00:55
Confused

Erm no.

People who voted Labour didn't assume that Blair would do what he did. OTOH UKIP make clear their agenda, so there is little excuse.
