Hmmmm - I think it's all a bit too 'try hard' for me and ends up being on the wrong side of classy/classic. The doors are horrid.

The garden is tiny and the doors would look better with frosted glass. The fire place and the bubbles on the walls of the attic room are nice but i would rather eat my oldest child than live in an over priced london ghetto.

In the bathroom picture, why is the loo roll holder positioned so far away from the loo?! Very impractical

I hate that house! And I agree with zgaze. I choose my laptop over fancy dividing doors!

I don't like the first houe at all-I really don't like "period" properties.Far too cluttered and too much added stuff that detract from it.I like modern type houses. It has no kerb appeal. But then I live in an area where 400k would get you a detached property in a rural setting.

The second one-well I hate the outside (the poles!), but it is during the art deco period which I love.But soooo much more could be made of the inside.

As i have never lived in Wales i cant form a view as to whether or not the welsh shag sheep but i have lived in london.

Some of it is nice. In those nice bits it looks like a relaxing home.

Not sure that there is any need for racist remarks OP just because most posters think that the house you like is a bit naff. And it IS naff - overdone and lacking classiness. Probably done up by someone who has seen pics of a lovely period property and tried to copy. Badly.

I love the second house, but I don't like the fireplace in that funny shaped room, or the way you have to sit side on to the TV in the corner.

I need walls as have so many glass show cases and sideboards all packed full with stuff.
Receptions are a posh name for rooms downstairs other than the kitchen.
If one room is a kitchen diner, it would be a cheek to call the diner part a reception.

I didn't like the front or the furnishings, but do like the folding doors, but no good to me as would have nowhere to put my 2m sideboard and vitrine that sits on top of it .
