Every time I introduce a friend to another friend they become best buds very quickly and I am excluded. It happened to me at college years ago, and has happened twice in adulthood. Most recent being in the past 6 months.

The two I recently introduced to each other were my closest friends. Now they are off doing stuff together all the time, they don't invite me and barely talk to me anymore. Whenever I suggest anything to either of them they are always busy and make excuses. I was a good friend to them both.

awww

no real advice but had this happen to me once and i was gutted. i remember seeing on fb all the time they were meeting up and hadn't asked me. i am still friends with them both thought and i have just accepted it as something that happens, that maybe they have more in common with eachother then me tbh

but don't know what i would do if it kept happening Confused

That's what I find difficult; all the Facebook gushing and writing on each others' walls about how great each other is. If I see each of them individually they speak to me and are normal with me, but if I see them together they can't get away from me quickly enough. Our DCs are all at school together, which makes things difficult!

It's probably just a coincidence.

I don't really introduce my friends to each other. Not on purpose but its not something that happens. But as you are, then you must be doing it with the hope that they like each other and get along and they are.

How awful for you but it could be just a coincidence that these people get on so well together? Hope you find a friend who is there for you.

hmm they sound a bit immature tbh

(the fb gushing etc)
