Was it relly sad?

Would you believe it, I missed the last 10 minutes because of stupid "pause tv glitch. Go on tell me what happened.

firesidechat · 24/02/2013 21:20

really, not relly

BlackholesAndRevelations · 24/02/2013 21:22

YANBU Sad

Softlysoftly · 24/02/2013 21:23

Oh no dont tell me my mum's here and refuses to watch it so I have to wait until Wednesday!

Mumblepot26 · 24/02/2013 21:25

Yeah me too, was very moving.....although quite shocked generally at how poor some of the acting is. This is only my second time ever watching.

kelhen · 24/02/2013 21:25

Yanbu _ I had to switch off last week because of the baby with spina bifida. I haven't been able to watch it since I've had my own baby «damn hormones» Smile

TomArchersSausage · 24/02/2013 21:25

Wasn't he Twister in Larkrise to Candleford?

Littlefish · 24/02/2013 21:30

I missed the last 10 minutes too - what happened?

frillynat81 · 24/02/2013 21:37

och i missed the last bit too, my wee boy was shouting he was going to be sick

lucertola28 · 24/02/2013 21:38

Read the TB chapter in the book and it is even sadder than the episode.

The end was really sad in the episode. I was holding back tears and had a lump in my throat

Spoiler for Littlefish so don't read this if you have it recorded for later

The girl had the baby and they put it in the dads arms then the daughter sat with him and the dad died holding his grandson.

Sister Bernadette has TB and the doctor took her to the hospital for tests and xrays was sad cos she is so lovely and stays all peaceful and calm even though she is ill.

firesidechat · 24/02/2013 21:45

Ok, thank goodness for iplayer. Just seen it on there and had a little cry. Wasn't quite as bad as I was imagining which is good.

I so want Sister Bernadette to end up with the doc, but don't suppose that happens does it? Read the first book and must get round to reading the rest.

firesidechat · 24/02/2013 21:46

Yes, Archers fan, he was Twister.

I loved reading the books. The book is so much sadder than this episode but I also bawled. I got seriously grumpy when my parents were staying and I wasn't allowed to watch.
