Bought them 2 weeks before Xmas at the fruit stall inside the hospital I go to, just past Xmas it ended up as a bit of a joke as they hadn't gone off yet but we kept them to see how long they could possibly last.

The buggers show no sign of ever dying!

I know the chicken legs and stuff are definitely real chicken because we had to actually break them into that shape.

apparently (and this is where i started disbelieving) there are genetically manipulated organisms without feathers, beaks or feet that are kept alive by tubes pumping blood and nutrients. their bone structure is shrunken to get more 'meat' out of them.

i'm sure i've seen KFC ads where the man is dipping the chicken pieces into the flour and he says something about the chicken being delivered fresh daily. although not seen it recently but i did see an ad for popcorn chicken the other day.

Booyhoo Yeah they dip it into the flour (the actual chicken pieces, not strips and stuff obvously) and stuff themselves but it isn't delivered fresh daily, it's all kept in a big freezer.

i think there was very small writing on the bottom of the screen saying "deliveries may vary" or something like that

I think they are. Can't guarantee it's decent chicken but I am pretty sure it is real chicken.

Unfortunately I don't know the recipe, I only lasted 2 weeks because even I was disgusted.

i've been looking online for it but no joy so far. i am hoping to make so much that i make myself sick of it and stop wanting them. we dont have KFC near here and the cravings drive me mad!
