to be really saddened by this receipt find?

Lovely presents from dh today, but aibu and a bit of a cow to be disappointed that the receipt shows that he just ran in n grabbed my pressies at 6pm on the wy home from work?

It's not as though he didn't know it was VD, it's advertised everywhere for months.

My DH went to Tesco this morning (after dropping DD at holiday camp, so he had to go out anyway) and grabbed me some flowers and chocs.

Which was nice, I wasn't expecting anything.

What was less nice was donating said flowers to DD when she got home because 'she was so excited to see them and thought they were for her'.

DD is five ffs
