to be really saddened by this receipt find?

Lovely presents from dh today, but aibu and a bit of a cow to be disappointed that the receipt shows that he just ran in n grabbed my pressies at 6pm on the wy home from work?

It's not as though he didn't know it was VD, it's advertised everywhere for months.

I know, I know, they were thoughtful stuff as well, all things I really like, but I just feel like it's an afterthought.

Oh cos it's a VAT receipt for the fuel he bought as well, MrsDoom, he left it out on the Shellf for me to file.

Well, I guess if he'd bought it last week, the Take A Break would have been out of date. So fuel marks for him for swerving that.

DH bought me a ard in M & S yesterday , after I gave him the stamped voucher that gives you a free card when you've bought 8 cards . Told him to get me the most expensive one he could find , cos it's the free one .
And he found a lovely card ( DD helped , I've trained her well )
What was the problem ? You had a lovely gift , didn't you ?
