I use bin company bin bags (they are yellow with refuse company name on etc). I got up early this morning and put out my bags for collection.
At about 7am there was a hammering on the door,despite having a doorbell. The driver of the bin lorry said he could not lift my bags as they exceeded the weight. I was sure they weren't so brought down my bathroom scales and sure enough,each bag was a couple of hundred grams below the weight limit.
The driver told me he hasn't time to deal with this bullshit and drove off without collecting the bags.
Should I lodge a complaint?
