(Lighthearted with a paranoid undertone)

I've been on MN for about a year. I get involved in & start threads. I'm addicted enjoying the site yet I don't ever seem to be included in the group banter that comes from the evolution of a thread, despite trying to involve myself.

I think I can be quite funny this might be where the problem lies, maybe only I am of that opinion and I'm pretty much socially trained. So I'm thinking maybe I am in actual fact made not real Grin

shite, I'm a social outcast, aren't I? Hmm

STDG, thanks for that. Once you explained it, NC'd made perfect sense Blush

Maryz, Saycool, I'd never sign in again if I listened to Maryz advice, I'd be too frightened of the public lynching! However, all suggestions taken onboard and appreciated Grin Oh and I won't preview, I'll definitely take that on! Thanks

I am positive, OP, that not only am I a figment of my imagination but I also sport a rather large cloak of invisibility!

I recognise loads of posters but doubt any of them recognise me!

Can't be NPASIAT as I read that and it was something like 'not a pissy ant' in my head.

Sorry - I was chanelling the lovely Eddie Izzard when I chose my name.......

I was also chanelling the kids I teach who think capitals are optional unless used in the middle of a sentence and sometimes even in the middle of a word.......

never suits me fine!

Maryz mentioned me!! >

Neverputasockinatoaster could be shortened to neverput - that is quite quick and easy to type.

Fanny - I am a poster from Scotland, though not a Scottish poster, and, like you, I tend to notice other Scottish posters.

I think we all feel like that. I've been here years and there are loads of people - most of mn actually - who've never so much as said hi to me.

Grin

but we're all just hanging about together and I like to think of it as a great big group of mates all chatting away, you might not actually be 1 on 1 with most of them, but you're all still there together.

I will probably follow you round the boards now.

Until you get a restraining order like the rest of them

Start a bum sex/water sports/my DH wears nipple clamps thread tonight after a load of wine and/or gin.

That'll get 'em talking!
